Our BCom program will give you not only a solid foundation in business, but also a rewarding university experience. Here's how:

Challenge yourself with
our innovative curriculum

The groundwork begins in year one with Business Fundamentals where you’ll learn about synergies across business disciplines and get hands-on experience applying analytical frameworks to real-world business cases.

In courses like Strategies for Responsible Business as well as Innovation and Sustainability, you’ll assess the impacts business can have economically, socially and environmentally, and then investigate sustainable solutions to create competitive advantages.

And in Business Programming and Analytics you’ll gain insight about concepts and techniques used by organizations in our data-driven world to make decisions when faced with challenges.

Enhance your learning
outside the classroom

Compete in national and global case competitions, deliver an inspirational talk at UBC’s Student Leadership Conference, or explore further into an area of interest by joining a student club.

Extend your global reach through study abroad programs and business treks to international destinations.

Take part in cutting-edge research as a Commerce Scholar by assisting a professor with research on topics ranging from renewable resource management to consumer response to product design.

Manage a $10 million portfolio in preparation for a career in global capital markets.

The opportunities are endless.
